You are so very right in the many new interventions that have been developed. Our son has dramatically improved at a wonderful school that utilizes many techniques with their student population. Our son used to be very introverted and want to only be around adults, but now he is able to begin and continue with topics for conversation, stress related techniques where instead of acting out he is able to verbally express himself, and so much more. Thank you for sharing! Look forward to more wonderful "words of wisdon and hope.

Bravo. Though the challenges we face as parents or individuals with autism are sometimes daunting, attitudes like this can give us the means to exploit the "epidemic" to good end.
