Ian,

I haven't seen Molly, or heard of it until now. Sounds like one to add to my Netflix list, which means I'll have to return the movies that have been laying around forever.

Hi Shawn,

(Posted into history so as not to change the subject of your latest Movie Time! post)

Re: autism movies, have you seen the movie Molly, with Elizabeth Shue?

Robert,

I just use the web statistic programs that my hosting company provides. They provide packages called Webalizer and Analog. Neither is very elaborate, but they provide some basic information.

Do you mind if I ask how you keep track of your traffic? I have a Scoop site, but I don't have any idea how many people visit, or when, or how they got there.

Wade asked: What is this “snow” thing, and where does one go to play in it?

A meteorologist answers "an atmospheric phenomena in which fine crystalline water particles precipitate in the upper lattitudes during winter months"

The occupational therapist responds "a powdery substance useful for providing tactile stimulation to the hands, feet and entire body. Usually found outside and rarely in the school's therapy room."

The ten year old boy describes it as "A really cool powdery thing that you can slide around on and make balls to throw at your brother"

The forty-something father who's lived 90% percent of his life above the Mason Dixon line waxes philosophic: "A God given gift to northerners to distract them from the short days, cold nights, and the cabin fever of winter that might otherwise cause us to completely go off the deep end. (There's not much to Mardi Gras up here!)"

Again, I have to ask. What is this "snow" thing, and where does one go to play in it?

Although it took 3 winters of trying, my son finally loves the snow. At first he couldn't stand the sound of his boots squishing the snow, then he didn't like the cold air, but this past winter he was making snowmen, snowforts and having a snowball fight with me.
